Family Updates

Yeah, it's been a while.  Since Nils has been gone and I'm still unpacking there's less time to keep up with this lovely family blog.  Still, that doesn't mean I can't share a few updates.

Jane is now in kindergarten!  She's lovin' it and probably having more fun than doing any hard core learning.  But hey, that's what kindergarten is for, right?

First school picture!
And talk about milestones... Jane lost her first tooth!  She did it all herself.  First it wiggled a little, then it wobbled a lot, then voila!
"Look Mom!  My tooth came out!"
She was, indeed, visited by a very generous tooth fairy.

And that's not all folks... This girl is on a roll.  She's learned to ride a bike without training wheels.  The one upside, I guess, to having packers put all your stuff in boxes is that the training wheels got separated from the bicycles.  Because there were no training wheels when the bikes first arrived and Jane really wanted to ride, she got on Harry's little bike, practiced a little, and then moved on to her own bigger bike.  Talk about easy for Mom and Dad!  Once the training wheels did finally arrive and got unpacked... didn't need 'em.

And Harry?  He started preschool in September. The biggest treat; Daddy got to take him to his first day of preschool!

Okay, smile for the camera.
No, Calvin... I said SMILE.

And.... Harry has fallen in love.  Yes, folks, our little toddler has found true love.
I'll love you forever.
Sadly, we had to play the Capulets and break these two lovers apart.  Let's hope everyone survives the separation.  I have a feeling the kitty will be fine.

September also marked our first visit from Daddy!  We had lots of fun visiting the Aquarium in Salt Lake, going to the water park, playing games, and catching up on much needed Daddy time.  Can't wait for his next visit in November!
