Apartment Part 2 - Bucătărie

I know you've all been waiting with bated breath... wait no longer. YES folks... we introduce to you..... our KITCHEN! Enjoy!

As a side note, some people have wondered why we started with the bathroom... Our "tour" seems to lack logic and planning. Well, surprised as you all may be at the answer, indeed, the whole thing was rather spontaneous. I just happened to be in the bathroom when Nils decided to begin filming the apartment tour. Luckily, that was the cleanest room in the entire house after it received a very in-depth cleaning from me the day before.

Yes! Finally, the next installment! It was great, you guys. I was really impressed with how you get around in such a small space. Having the fridge by the front door is a great idea! That way, when you get home and want a snack, it's right there as soon as you walk in. :-)

Things Bill noticed:
1) cute slippers
2) Emily's hair is growing!
3) that's a real small kitchen
4) total lack of explanation about how you dry your clothes
5) hotdogs? if they're made from cat meat, shouldn't they be called hotcats?
6) video suddenly stops as Emily prepares to go outside. We wonder if that is a fake door, like on a hollywood studio set, that opens into an alternate reality.

Keep the videos coming. It's a fascinating peek into "Americans in Romania".

Having the fridge by the door is quite convenient, if, say a beggar stopped by. "Cold drink? Of course!" You wouldn't even have to go anywhere, just reach over and pull one out. Said beggar could even view the selection if she were so inclined.

I suddenly used 'she' instead of 'he' to be gender mixed, but then I realized I hadn't used beggaress, so it might not flow.

Were the hotcats warmed up? If not, you'll have to call them coldcats.

A washing machine! I'm jealous. Clothes can dry the old fashioned way. Though I must admit that y'all's kitchen is smaller than mine, and you have a well-stocked pantry. I am looking forward to seeing it in person in two weeks!

Some of us aren't as used to a large kitchens like some Bill, wink!

I admit I got chuckles out of all the hotdog comments and well the beggar/beggaress at the door convenience, I wouldn't let that get out, you might start getting people knocking at your door at all hours.

That said does Romania have many beggars?

I too am looking forward to the next installment.

Catching up on your website whilst feeding William makes for good entertainment :) Thanks for sharing

Neat idea to have the refrigerator by the door. When your ice cream or milk is at the brink of spoiling, you can save it by dashing to the front door and immediately put them in the fridge! :)

Very cute and humble abode. Sure it helps us realize how Americans can appreciate what they have.
